Rob Broadfield is flogging a dead horse on this one. Yes its popular to beat up on Perth Coffee and its prices and there are some great examples of this being the case.
There is however a strong core of great coffee shops in Perth who's product is at the very least equal to that of their Melbourne peers and prices are not at the quoted levels.
As the level of coffee sophistication continues to grow, we will see the gap between the good and bad become far more obvious.
